The New Page

After my last post, Revival, I thought I'd give an update of how I am currently. It's been more than six months since my last, official, post, so I'll give an update first. I have had my internship in Malaysian Industrial Development Finance(MIDF) from June till September. Nice place, the people there are nice, just the only thing bad was that I was transferred from the Investment Banking part of the company to the Sales part of the company, which was kind of a waste of my talents, hehe *evil grin. I had signed a 6-months deal with the company as an intern, but my internship course for MMU was only 3 months plus. So after the 3 months of internship, I've decided to leave the company for better offers.

...And better offers did come, I went for an interview at IBM, International Business Machines, one of the biggest MNC companies in Malaysia. Successfully, I got the job. What I really loved about this job was that instead of wasting around 2 hours of my time in public transportation, I could drive and reach my work in around 5 minutes! Not to mention, the environment is so much better...

Well, I can't discussed to much about my work (scared that I might disclose sensitive info, right?), so what I can say is that I'm supporting China, which is kind of ironic since I'm better in English than in Chinese. But I did choose China myself, cause I think the market there is terrific and I want to be part of it :P.

So far, my colleagues and seniors have been treating me nothing but nice. What I really like about the environment is because the people really treat you as a fresh graduate and teach you. In addition to me being a complete stranger to everything and me being dumb (sometimes), they really put a lot of effort to train me. For that I really thank them.

Oh yeah, before I go any further, I forgot to mention I'm living in Petaling Jaya now, SS23 to be exact. Never thought that I'd be living in PJ area, but the rental here is really worth it, cause I'm just 5 minutes away from the Market and LRT, 10 minutes away from One-Utama, 15 minutes away from Sunway Pyramid and 20 minutes away from Midvalley Megamall. There are quite a few choices for food, ranging from cheap to extremely expensive. So living here is kinda nice.

There's a small park near my place, so I've started to jog. I ain't getting younger so I've taken up exercising and cutting on certain types of food (oily stuff mostly).

So there you have it, my updates until now. I'll keep on updating if I can, cause sometimes work can really get the best of me.

The Revival

On May 27th, 2009, I've blogged for the last time in my previous long-term blog. http://project-t.blog.friendster.com. It was in a Friendster account, so after I've ditched Friendster and started to get addicted to Facebook, I've let go of my blog as well. It was kind of a waste too, I had some people reading that blog... Anyway, it has been more than six months since i've blogged under this title, Las Noches. I've tried to blog using several catchy names, but I just didn't feel it, it wasn't the right name that I'd like to use. So each time I would create a blog with a catchy name, then just abandon it before I really had a chance to like it.

Then, today, I went back to my Friendster and just recalled that I had a blog there and went back to read the entries I've had. Man, it was nostalgic to see what I've been through those days in my university life. Sigh, I miss those days.

Well, enough with the old days, I've decided to use back Las Noches as my blog once again, but unfortunately, the name Las Noches was taken (probably by a Latino, since it's Latin), so I've taken Las Noches Palace instead.

Instead of my studying life, it's all about a whole new me now in working life so I hope I get to blog all I want in this whole new blog!
